Brews News 1-14

The month is already half over and we have already seen new brewery openings faster than we can keep up with them. Also festival season has slowly begun, but as we head into a new week we take a break from new brewery openings. Instead we look at anniversaries and new beer releases to keep our pint glasses full. Here is what is going on in the upcoming week.

Even though they have already been open for a few weeks now Caution Brewing Company will be celebrating the grand opening of their new location Caution: West in Lakewood. Event is Saturday, January 18 from 12-10 and will feature some great beer specials, food trucks, and entertainment all day.
In the end of 2012 the small mountain town of Golden had only 1 microbrewery, now they have 4 and on Saturday, January 18 the second craft brewery in this town will be turning 1. Cannonball Creek will be celebrating their first anniversary with live music, great food, and of course great beer. 10 to be exact to celebrate 1 year in business that include a brand new Oatmeal brown n nitro, an anniversary ale, and a collaboration beer with the Colorado School of Mines home brew club.
